( I need a more creative title for this but I only slept 2 hrs last night, that’s my excuse)

Ok, so besides (never-occurring) updates on where I am, I’ve decided to add things I love at the moment, anything from a product, a book, sights etc.

One album I’ve been listening to almost obsessively for a month is White T-Shirt by Australian (now living in Paris) singer/songwriter Micky Green.

I’m quite bad at categorizing music objectively but I would describe her music as being sexy without being sleazy. Wikipedia description of her music isn’t far off: colorful, rhythmic vocal pop.

On her myspace you can download 2 songs for free,

but I would highly recommend getting the whole album.

oh and did I mention she was a model?

Finally a model who can strut AND sing!

a little helpful info about entry into Chile June 23, 2008

so this is the case of entry by land, as that’s the only one I’m quite sure of:

1. There is no visa required for upto 90 days for the USA citizens, but at the point of entry(the immigrations) in AIRPORT, you have to pay US $131. If you enter by land, you don’t have to pay anything, according to a few sources including the wikitravel. ( I didn’t pay anything)

-Also, make sure to keep your immigration card(which is actually a carbon copy of a paper) in a safe place because you will need to show it when you leave.

2. Items/Products needed for declaration at customs:

-besides the typical products(meat, fruits etc) you need to declare any dairy products(cheese, milk etc), any products derived of animals(honey, dried meat etc), dried fruits/vegetables, artisan goods, handcrafts. (I saw someone getting busted for a mate, not sure whether she had to pay though)

As an American, you know you’ve been away too long June 20, 2008

when you not only start appreciating (seemingly omnipresent) bidet  but rank it as one of the best inventions ever.

I’m still in Argentina, Bariloche to be exact, leaving for Santiago Chile tomorrow. Haven’t packed, haven’t found an apartment yet but eh, they will work out themselves…..while reading a bit about Chile, I found this on wikitravel:

Be careful if you are dressed like an emo. They are called “pokemons” because the haircuts reminds of the japanese animated series. Chileans may disapprove of the hairstyle and clothing. There have been an increase on attacks against them by skinheads and few chileans have sympathies for them. You will experience less problems if you embody some other genre like rock or hip-hop, for example.

HAHAHAHAHA…I mean violence and intolerance is not funny but HAHAHA.

Society wants you to conform

wants you to be “normal”

i went other way,

now i try

yet why do i always feel like the one outside

I prefer to get the unnoticed view though

i had my fun,

thank you, good night.
