and pass along the links so I can stop this legalized slavery nonsense haha:
lol I should post more pictures from last/this year instead of re-using photos that are about 2-3 years old.

I’m taking the day off not because I’m quite depressed (I’m not putting myself this bs again) but because it’s holiday season.
anyways,
I’m swooning all over his sexiness that is Mr.Brett Anderson in the early-mid 90s so expect to hear a lot of Suede next week,
along with some 80’s-early 90’s K-Pop.
ciao ciao
Happy New Year everyone.
I was dreaming of a white Christmas(aka Apocalypse in the Southern region haha) but I will take this relaxing few day-break. I am heading to the beach to swim in icy-cold Pacific ocean(WITH SEA LIONS!!!)-slowing turning into a lobster I wish it’s a bit cloudy/warm later today.
I wish everyone Merry Christmas/Happy Hannukah/Happy Kwanzaa/Happy all the other holidays you celebrate!
I’m a Baptist but I miss the diversity of holidays in the U.S.
it’s a bit depressing this year but I usually hate holidays anyways. eh
I have no clue about the live-music scene here,
so far what I’ve heard has been disastrous, ranging from heavy-metal tribute bands to emo bands ugh.
so the only opportunity that I have for dancing (to indie/garage music) is at Blondie (found at indie floor, naturally)
where you can probably spot me on most indie nights getting harassed by freakishly persistent guys:

This past Thursday I was at the Indie-Fluor Party too(hence the disastrous Friday show-excuses :\) which was, really, really disappointing. I mean, you know we have a problem when I’m the most well-dressed person on the whole floor. Seriously, what’s wrong with dressing up people, ugh.
Music-wise…it’s really hard for me to enjoy clubbing because I never fit in, while I like “indie rock” there are many “indie-darlings” that I just don’t like such as The Killers, The Ting Tings, Yeah Yeah Yeahs(who subsequently all became somewhat quasi-mainstream) and so on….hell, I don’t even like The Strokes’ 2nd or 3rd album(and consequently lost interest) Which is why I never got into clubbing…I love dancing at concerts to live bands but not at clubs..it just seems really odd…unless it’s kind of an official dance…such as salsa, tango…hm..am I making sense? To make the dilemma worse, they played a LOT of electronica.
oh and people,
I go to mostly GL club for a reason-so I will be left alone. Seriously, do girls ever fall for “you are very beautiful” line anyways?
anyways,
despite all this,
my choices are limited. so you will see me here, going crazy to the songs I love, skulking in a corner when they play anything else.
I will probably go Christmas day, maybe Christmas Eve, and in Valparaiso on the 31st. Anyone know how I can get on the list? I mean really, why do I have to pay? haha
oh and btw, if you are living in Greater Santiago area and listen to FM radio, 88.9 FM seems fantastic..they played Velvet Underground special yesterday and just now they were playing Ramones and Jethro Tull. love it.
if you were listening you probably heard something going terribly wrong and it was cut off in the midst of The Rapture song (blasphemous) so I don’t remember the exact order of the set BEFORE the incident-upto 9th- but you get the idea.
lol sooooo many errors today’s show. sorry

help:
-anyone know how to get in touch with the main DJ in charge of indie nighs at Blondie? LESS ELECTRONICA!
-easy way to make podcasts?
hear me half-dying on the show later today 10-12pm EST, 12-2 pm Santiago local time… babbling non-sense probably.
zzzzzz
I’m doing a dance special so hopefully it’ll keep me awake…
expect to hear the previously mentioned bands + more such as Suede because I can always use hot flamboyant lead singers to keep me insane awake.
p.s. I’m only human.
lol to those who listened to the show today…
sorry about the beeping and cutting off the song mid-play lol blame it on my friend DREW who was chatting with me on the facebook, HENCE DISTRACTING ME hahaha.
anyways,
he was requesting few tunes but I didn’t have ANY of the songs that he requested and they were all by the bands that we saw together back in the days when the gigs were soooo fun.
so next week, I am dedicating the set to him, making it Dance Special, filled with some of the bands we saw together, including:
Moving Units
